The 255km of well-prepared trails (130km classic and 125km skating) get even the most discerning cross-country fans’ hearts racing. The network of trails, encompassing Kössen, Walchsee, Schwendt and Rettenschöss, is ideal for skiers looking for a challenge as well as beginners who want to learn how to cross-country ski in Tyrol. The Kaiserwinkl has long been one of the most popular areas in Europe for experienced cross-county skiers and skaters.
When it comes to preparation, orientation, signage and health and safety, the Kaiserwinkl trails have been awarded the Tyrollean seal of approval. Another reason for us Kaiserwinklers to be proud - the Kaiserwinkl is a member of the ‘Tyrollean Cross-Country Ski Specialists’.
All cross-country ski trails in Kaiserwinkl and in Reit im Winkl may be used free of charge!
